WHAT: In just 7 weeks David Tua will take on Monte Barrett in a much anticipated rematch: REDEMPTION – Tua v Barrett II.

In addition three amateur and five professional fights will take place before this feature fight (further details to be released).


WHEN: Saturday 13 August 2011 @ 6pm onwards

WHERE: TelstraClear Pacific Events Centre, Manukau, Auckland

DETAILS: Tickets go on sale tomorrow (Friday 24 June 2011) @ 09.00hrs from Ticketdirect: www.ticketdirect.co.nz or toll free 0800 4 TICKET.

SKT TV and David Tua have worked together to keep event ticket prices (and Pay-Per-View prices) at an accessible level for a large-scale event - offering general admission (as low as $50.00) to a gold level ticket tier:

General Admission: $50.00
Silver: $80.00
Gold: $120.00

The fight will broadcast live on SKY Arena channel 38 and will also be the first event to be produced and broadcast in high definition on the channel. SKY TV viewers will be able to watch this ‘explosive’ event at home for $29.95 or as a spectator at a licensed premise.
