Award Winning Fashion Icon joins judging panel.
Kiwi fashion icon Annah Stretton is joining the ‘Wearable Creationz’ judging panel of five as the 2011 celebrity Judge!
As with any competition, Judging proves to be one of the most challenging tasks within the Wearable Creationz Event, especially with so much at stake. Annah Stretton will bring her fashion talent and expertise to the judging panel and have the opportunity to see the Creations up close and discuss concepts with each individual designer about how their inspirations have evolved into a piece of Art to be worn on stage. The art forms presented would not normally be seen on a cat walk however the designers show diversity, imagination and creativity with the ability to 'think' outside the box, giving an audience a spectacular visual experience.
Annah herself has achieved so much with her business and community awards and therefore is able to inspire many of these young and up-coming entrants to be all they can be. Annah became the 2009 New Zealand recipient of the Veuve Clicquot Award, a global tribute to female achievers in business and industry, and she has recently published her book ‘Wise Heart’.
Tickets to the Wearable Creationz shows on the 18th, 19th & 20th August can be purchased online, or at the Ticketmaster office in the Convention Centre Fenton Street.
