Christchurch to enjoy RWC 2011 Quarter Final excitement

Cantabrians can look forward to a huge rugby inspired entertainment spectacular when COKE Rugbyfest at Hagley kicks off for the Rugby World Cup 2011 Quarter Final the weekend of 8-9 October*

With a crowd of up to 40,000 anticipated, COKE Rugbyfest at Hagley will give Cantabrians the chance to come together and experience some of the excitement of RWC 2011 Quarter Final action. The quarter-final matches will be broadcast live on giant screens and supported with special, just for Christchurch, on-field and on-stage entertainment.

Coca-Cola New Zealand says, without giving the game away, Cantabrians joining the on-park festivities can expect a one-time-only event that includes some favourite sports stars and celebrities and a magical, not-to-be-missed visual finale.

COKE Rugbyfest at Hagley has the support of some of Canterbury’s top crews and suppliers and most talented performers and celebrities in line with a commitment from Coca-Cola to ensure the event is a true Canterbury celebration.

And as the RWC 2011 anticipation builds, Coca-Cola has indicated more exciting event details will be revealed over the coming months.
