Jordan Barnes - recipient of the NZAAT Artist Grant

It has been an absolute joy working with Jordan. He has made significant progress over these past months while he has been residing in Wellington. He has been able to focus completely on his artwork with the support from Lynne Sandri, his artist mentor, and me and my team. Jordan will have 13m of wall space at this year's show and we are very proud to have provided him a platform and the support to launch his career as a serious full-time artist. http://www.jordanbarnesart.com/pages/gallerypaint.html

Single Artists Walls - Meet the Artists!

This year we have 69 artists on-site coming from all over the country - this is a great experience not only for the artist, but offers a very unique experience to the public that visit our show - an opportunity to meet with the artists themselves. For the most part, many of these artists work in isolation - the NZ Art Show gives them the opportunity to engage with the people that enjoy their artwork.

Help us promote the NZ Art Show

Help us promote the NZ Art Show; it is with the assistance from all of you that we are able to make this successful - inform your family, your friends, your colleagues - come to Wellington for the weekend! As a charitable trust we enlist all the support we can . owning original artworks, in my opinion, is a necessity . and by providing affordable quality works of art, makes this a reality for all New Zealanders.

The NZ Art Show management team

We are a small team - Carla Russell and Midge Murray - and we would like to thank you for your support of what we do. This is our life at the moment . and all of our efforts are about to be realised from the 28th - 31st July 2011.

Trustees

The Trustees of the NZ Affordable Art Trust are: Chris Parkin (Chairman), Frances Russell, Jo Hughes, Isobel Mebus, Fraser Carson, Neil Plimmer, Richard Nelson and Graeme Reeves. The Trustees are all volunteers and their passion for the arts is reflected in their personal growing collections of art and their determination to make the reality of owning an original artwork for everyone. What a wonderful objective!!!

Sponsors and Friends of the NZ Art Show - thank you! http://www.artshow.co.nz/sponsors-and-friends/
