Japan will join their Kiwi counterparts for a moment's silence
AUCKLAND, 11 Sept. - Rugby World Cup Limited (RWCL) has announced that the New Zealand v Japan Rugby World Cup 2011 match in Hamilton on 16 September will honour the members of the Rugby family who lost their lives in the Christchurch earthquake and the Japan earthquake and Tsunami.
The two teams will be joined prior to the anthems by New Zealand Prime Minister the Rt Hon John Key and former Japan Prime Minister and Japan Rugby Football Union President Yoshiri Mori to observe a minute’s silence for those who lost their lives and to express solidarity for the communities affected by the tragedies.
