Fashion and
beauty combine in Ballantynes Spring Preview
New
season’s fashions from Ballantynes will be available for
three days next week in the Silks Room at Addington Raceway
in a special ‘Spring Fashion Preview.’
The latest in men’s and women’s fashion from leading brands, including garments from French and English collections direct from Europe, along with hats and accessories, will be on sale from 10am-8pm next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
In addition, twice daily fashion shows at $20 a ticket will be held at 12.30pm and 6pm, offering the chance to view the latest looks and trends. Tickets will include complimentary drinks and nibbles and a copy of the latest Simply You magazine.
Leading designers will be attending the Fashion Shows -- Paula Ryan on Monday, Barbara Lee on Tuesday and Ashley Fogel on Wednesday.
The Spring Fashion Preview is designed to not only provide Canterbury with the latest in fashion and leading brand beauty products, but also to lift the spirits of its citizens.
Ballantynes fashion buyers say it will be a chance to learn what to wear to look sensational this spring, providing insights into popular trends such as jackets, dresses, prints, romanticism, and cheerful, fun, leisure fashion. The season’s colours, including the brights like tangerine, coral, magenta and wasabi will be in evidence, but also more muted shades like pale pinks, nudes and soft blues, ivory, champagne and silver.
The cosmetics will include Elie Saab, Dr Lewinns,
Elizabeth Arden, Dr Hauschka, Revlon, Estee Lauder, Lancome,
Clarins, Clinique, Linden Leaves, MAC, Armani, YSL and
Guerlain. Draws for prizes will be held and complimentary
items with purchases will be
made.
