The Fatso 24 Hour Movie Marathon is officially mecca for cinefiles in New Zealand. Now in its 12th year, the event attracts movie obsessed folk from all over the country to worship at the altar of the celluloid God.

For just one weekend each year, the legendary Hollywood Cinema is totally devoted to hardcore movie maniacs. This is the Mt Everest of movie viewing experiences. For twenty four non-stop hours, attendees watch premieres and oddities from the vault.

This year has already sold-out but those wishing to attend in true style (free flights, goodie bag, accommodation etc) can enter our 'PUBLIC SINEMA ANNOUNCEMENT' competition.

The task is to create a 30 second spin on the old Public Service Announcements. Everyone knows the anti-piracy one ("you wouldn't steal a car") from awhile back. Your PSAs will advise cinema patrons of correct cinema etiquette for the 24HR Movie Marathon. For example, No noisy chip packets, No hidden cameras, No smelly hot food, no bad hygiene, no cell phone use, no unwanted erections, no loud talking, no snoring; just be creative, entertaining, or deadly serious. All entries will screen at the movie marathon.

1. Upload your clip to youtube (public view) or Vimeo (you must make it downloadable and public)
2. Then paste link to your video on the Marathon FB event page
3. Email your link to 2brothersfilm@gmail.com (subject line PSA) with your full name and contact phone number.
4. Competition closes at 12 midnight on the 11th Nov 2011.
