Macpac’s Scott Emmens 5th in Christchurch’s Le Petit Brevet 2011
Scott Emmens came in 5th in this years’ Le
Petit Brevet, a 240 km endurance off road cycling event on
the Banks Peninsula, Saturday 19th Nov.
Le Petit Brevet
in mountain biking is not a widely publicised event. 2011
attracted 35 participants and lasted 34 hours and 55
minutes. The total km’s climbed during the Le Petit Brevet
2011 was 7,000 meters.
Scott Emmens, gear specialist at
Macpac headquarters in Christchurch, biked the distance in
18 hours and 38 minutes.
