Kerretta Announce Two NZ Shows Ahead Of 23 Date
European Tour
Local
pioneers of big instrumental rock, Kerretta, have
announced they will play two New Zealand shows before
heading off for an extensive tour of Europe in
February/March of 2012. Kerretta will play
Wellington’s Mighty Mighty on January 21st and
Auckland’s Kings Arms Tavern on January 28th. The
band will be playing songs from their new sophomore album
Saansilo.
Along with the two New Zealand dates Kerretta will head over to Europe to showcase their big brash sound to audiences in Germany, France, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Austria, Belgium, Croatia and The Netherlands, playing 23 dates across the continent.
2011 saw Kerretta release the
follow-up to their critically praised debut album
Vilayer. The Auckland based trio have previously been
nominated for the Taite Music Prize in 2010 and have built a
strong following across New Zealand, Australia and
Europe.
