With a decade of events under its belt, Semi-Permanent is back with its 8th instalment after touring Sydney, Melbourne, Dubai and Singapore, as well as satellite conferences in New York and London.

Kicking of on May 17th, Semi-Permanent has now expanded to 16 speakers for 2012, covering a deeper range of disciplines. The two-day conference will present a mash-up of creative minds with the likes of industry heavy-weights Ron English, Industrial Light & Magic, Gmunk, Wallpaper Magazine, Miss Van, Special Group, Three Drunk Monkeys and Alex Trouchet. Furthermore, local fashion designers Stolen Girlfriends Club will craft a visual spectacular to take guests to another level.

In addition to the regular run of show, Semi-Permanent will also offer a raft of side events and exhibitions. To awaken the inner creative beast, Semi-Permanent fans can find the highly anticipated Ron English exhibition at Webb’s from May 10th or a discussion with High Res and Resn to talk about the future of the creative digital landscape.

“Semi-Permanent is a global gathering of pure talent, new ideas, conversation and visual splendour that culminates in a two-day conference with some of the most inspirational designers and artists of our time,” says Semi-Permanent Director, Simon Velvin.

“A festival atmosphere surrounds the conference with inspiring activities and events throughout the week including live art, exhibitions, installations, workshops.”
