Local Amazon #1 Bestselling Author launches book on “How to Become a Bestselling Author”

Christchurch author Oli Hille who became an Amazon #1 Bestselling author last November has just launched his new book “How to Become an Amazon #1 Bestselling Author – and Make Money!”

“After my Lifestyle book went to #1 on Amazon last year, I was contacted by authors from all over the world to see how I did it. This book is the answer to all of those queries” said Hille.

Whilst Hille launched his first book at 99 cents, this book is US$27. Unlike a traditional book where the author only makes around $2 per copy, Hille keeps 95% of that price for himself.

“That is the beauty of Ebooks” said Hille. “In traditional publishing the publisher and the “middle-men” make all of the money. But in 2012, suddenly the power and the money is in the hands of the author.”

Hille is selling the book directly from his website www.LifestyleBook.com/amazon, and on the day of the launch he was at times selling five copies of the book every minute. “This is absolutely the way of the future for authors” said Hille. “Gone are the days of publishers, retailers, designers and printers making all of the money. Finally it is us, the authors who are in control of the process, and making the money.”
