Boredom busters these holidays
The school holidays are fast approaching and Hutt City Council has once again got diverse and exciting programmes to keep youngsters happy and occupied during the break.
From farmyard visits to a super hero disco, arts ‘n’ crafts to sports, there's a bumper selection of options for kids during the April school holidays on Hutt City Council’s holiday programmes.
The programmes commence on Tuesday 10 April and run until Friday 20 April and are based at three venues around the city - Gracefield School, Belmont Memorial Hall, and a special multisport programme at Walter Nash Stadium for the really active kids.
All programmes cater for children aged 5 – 13 years old and run from 9.00am to 3:30pm with extra morning and afternoon care available. Costs vary from day to day, depending on the activity and the length of care required.
All programmes are OSCAR accredited and customers may be eligible for a WINZ Childcare and Oscar Subsidy.
Bookings are now open and are expected to fill quickly. For details pick up a holiday programme booklet from your local pool, library or other council facility or download the brochure from Hutt City Council’s website www.huttcity.govt.nz/schoolholidays.
