Bullseye On Target For ‘Must Be Won’ Draw Tonight

Media Release 19 March 2012

Bullseye On Target For ‘Must Be Won’ Draw Tonight

NZ Lotteries’ daily game Bullseye has jackpotted to a Must Be Won draw this evening – meaning we are giving away $400,000 no matter what, says NZ Lotteries’ Chief Executive Wayne Pickup.

The Must Be Won draw has been triggered due to Bullseye’s First Division cash prize reaching the $400,000 threshold, as set out in the game rules.

“A Must Be Won draw always generates a lot of excitement with all of our games, because winners are guaranteed, even if they’re in a lower division than the game’s result,” says Mr Pickup.

A Must Be Won draw means that Bullseye First Division must be won by one or more lucky players. If no-one wins First Division, then the First Division prize pool is added to that of the next highest prize division where there are winners. If there is more than one Second Division winner, they will share the prizes equally. If there are no Second Division winners then Bullseye Third Division winners will share the prize, and so on.

There have been five Must Be Won draws since the game started in October 2009 and the last Must Be Won draw had one Second Division winner who won $410,001 on October 15, 2011.

Bullseye is drawn daily at 6pm, with results available online from 7pm at www.mylotto.co.nz or from Lotto retailers nationwide.
