Alliance Française French Film Festival 2012
Wellington Closing Night 2012
The Wellington leg of the Alliance Française French Film Festival 2012 is coming to a close this Sunday 25 March at Paramount Cinemas. The festival will close with a special screening of Julie Delpy’s new comedy The Skylab, which will be screened at 7:30pm.
The Skylab takes place in the summer of 1979 in Brittany as a family gathers to celebrate a very important birthday. It’s a big family who share a love of good food, fine wine, and healthy discussions. We watch the day unfold through the eyes of ten-year-old Albertine who is most insistent that on this night, the Skylab (a NASA space station) will fall from the sky on either Australia…or Brittany!
To celebrate the end of this successful chapter of the Festival, all ticket holders will be offered a glass of complimentary French bubbly on arrival, and the chance to win some fabulous spot prizes from principal sponsor L’Oréal Paris during the course of the evening.
