Mechanical steeds and a fist full of dirt
Mechanical steeds and a fist full of dirt
It was all smiles and sunshine at the third ever, completely unique, 2012 ilabb and Fox ride day over the weekend. The ride day kicked off last Saturday morning at ilabb’s very own private motocross track “the ilabb sanctuary” created for a few selected guests that had very rarely or hardly ever ridden a motocross bike before the chance to do so.
The guest list of 60 included T.V and radio personalities, iconic sports people and some of ilabb's retailers. With the ilabb family being on hand teaching the guests the basics, from getting on a bike through to actually riding it, the day allowed the guests a first hand experience into riding a motocross bike.
ilabb’s brand manager said “guests expectations were well and truly fulfilled over the weekend, most beginner riders scared to even swing a leg over the bike at the start of the day and by the end of the day they were shredding around the main motocross track by themselves”.
Providing entertainment, bikes and refreshments for the guests throughout the day were a few of ilabb’s close brand partners including Fox, Etnies, Blue Wing Honda, Castrol, Red Bull, BurgerFuel, Canadian Club and Playstation.
ilabb’s love and passion for the sport certainly rubbed off on the guests and by the end of the day with smiles all round. Some guests were even contemplating buying their very own motocross bike.
ilabb is a motorcross inspired decal and casual apparel brand stocked in 62 New Zealand retailers. View this winter’s apparel range “the moment” at www.ilabb.com.
