Out Takes 2012
We would like to welcome you
to Out Takes 2012: A Reel Queer Film Festival.
This year we have a wide ranging line up of engaging brand new, quality features, documentaries and short films from BBC war time dramas, quirky B-grade sci-fi, celebrations of Abba songs, to reworked Shakespeare. On offer are queers taking on Guinness World Records, lesbian ballroom dancers going for gold, and young farmers experiencing tender romance – there’s plenty to suit most queer-friendly tastes.
Fans of queer films are urged to keep the festival dates free. Some films that are in hot demand on the international film festival circuit can only screen once at Out Takes 2012: A Reel Queer Film Festival.
The queer film festival kicks
off in:
• Auckland at Rialto Newmarket: Thursday 24 May
to Monday 4 June (Queen’s Birthday)
• Wellington at
the Paramount: Thursday 31 May to Sunday 10 June
