Nationwide Survey Begins to Understand Kiwi Sex
Lives
Online adult retailer, Adulttoymegastore.co.nz has commenced a nationwide investigation into New Zealand bedrooms. The online Mega Kiwi Sex Survey 2012 quizzes New Zealanders on all aspects of their attitudes about sex, from how often we’re doing it, to where we’re doing it, and which New Zealand celebrities we’d like to join us.
Adulttoymegastore.co.nz Marketing Manager, Catherine Fitzgerald says the inaugural survey is part of the company’s goal to spark conversation about sex, “Unlike many European cultures, the Kiwi approach to sex is still very guarded. Our hope is to encourage more sex-positive discussion in New Zealand. Let’s make sex less complicated, pull it out of the shadows and into the light and embrace it as something that is as much a part life as birth and death. The more we can trend towards this sex-positive state, the more likely we are to have healthier, safer, more satisfying sex lives.”
The survey is running until 5pm on Monday 30th April 2012 and can be completed online at www.surveymonkey.com/s/megakiwisexsurvey2012. It is open to all New Zealanders 16 years old and over, and Fitzgerald says they are aiming to capture data from a broad cross section of New Zealanders “We’re working with a couple of key partners to get their audiences to take part, but we’re really trying to build a complete picture of the New Zealand sexual identity, so whether you’re a 60-year-old male in Eketahuna or a 22-year-old female in Ponsonby, we want to hear from you.”
And while all
individual responses will be kept confidential, overall
results from the survey will be made publically available by
the end of May.
