Wigmore and McCaw NZ's Most Desired Celebrities
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – 05 JUNE 2012
Gin Wigmore and Richie McCaw are New Zealand’s Most Desired Celebrities
The results from the inaugural Mega Kiwi Sex Survey 2012 are in and the subjects of our bedroom desires have been revealed.
It seems New Zealand’s female rugby fans may be focussed on a very different kind of scoring. The fairer sex have ruled Richie McCaw captain of their fantasies. The athletic All Black was top of the poll for New Zealand’s most admired man. He was followed by fellow sports studs, Sonny Bill Williams and Dan Carter in second and third. Sonny Bill can, however, console himself that he was first pick amongst New Zealand’s gay men.
When it comes to the fantasies of Kiwi men however, it’s Gin Wigmore who gets under their skin. The tattooed beauty was a firm favourite amongst New Zealand males and came in a very confident first. Everyone’s favourite face to wake up to, Pippa Wetzell, and Go Girl, Anna Hutchinson closed out the top three.
It was a hard fought battle for the title of New Zealand’s most sizzling couple with classic favourites and recent newlyweds, Dan Carter and Honor Dillon taking out first place. They were closely followed by Alison Mau and Karleen Edmonds , showing New Zealanders have a lot of love for the stunning same-sex couple. Third place went to radio shock jocks and long-time couple, Dominic Harvey and Jay-Jay Feeney.
The survey is the largest investigation into New Zealand bedrooms completed by a local business and further results will be released in three stages this year. Adulttoymegastore.co.nz, who sponsored the survey, said it was designed to spark healthy and honest conversation about sex.
“We really wanted to find
a way for New Zealanders to have a voice and a platform for
talking about their sex lives, their desires, their
dissatisfactions, their habits,” says Marketing Manager,
Catherine Fitzgerald. “Positive discussion about sex is a
great way for us all to feel more comfortable about our
sexual identities and the survey has produced some great
talking points. We’re excited to be able to bring this to
New Zealanders every year and let everyone have the
opportunity to be part of it.”
