Grease is the word for Court Theatre auditions
The Court Theatre is inviting performers from throughout the country to Christchurch at the end of June to find the cast for their summer musical GREASE.
Co-Directors Ross Gumbley and Stephen Robertson, along with Musical Director Richard Marrett, expect a large number of local and out-of-town applicants for the iconic rock n' roll musical set at a 1950s American High School. Auditions will be held as an open casting call on June 29.
"We're looking for 'triple threats' - people who can dance, act and sing," says Gumbley. "GREASE is a phenomenal show and we are looking for a young, energetic cast to give fresh life to some iconic roles."
Registrations for GREASE auditions close on 27 June. More information and application forms can be found on The Court Theatre's website: www.courttheatre.org.nz.
