A Strange Film Fever Infects New Zealand
A Strange Film Fever Infects New Zealand
The Auckland leg of the New Zealand International Film Festival launches this thursday night and NZ horror fans will be getting all lathered up over the big screen premiere of The Cabin In The Woods at the Mighty Civic theatre. The theatre that King Kong destroyed is about to get its arse kicked again.
We pinky promised distributor Roadshow Films we would sell-out the gigantic Civic Theatre and kiwi horror fans have taken up the challenge and made it one of the biggest sellers at this years festival. But big is not enough for us. We need a completely sold-out cinema! So grab everyone you know and lets blow the roof off the Civic this friday night. Tickets are available here
We're also very happy to announce that David Bruckner, one of the extremely talented directors of Sundance horror hit V/H/S is coming down to attend screenings of the spooky film and to discuss just what an unusual project this was to put together. David also co-directed one of the coolest indie horror films, The Signal, a superb feature that played a few years ago in the Incredibly Strange section. Trailer for the scary V/H/S is right here!
