La De Da Festival Announces 2012 Line Up

La De Da is proud to announce the first phase of its line up for 2012. Taking the best of both Local and International acts the festival has strived to raise the bar over the past two years, and deliver the finest line up for this year’s event.

La De Da are proud to announce that New Zealand’s finest live act Shapeshifter are set to deliver an unforgettable New Years Eve set and will headline this year’s show. They are joined at the festival by international Drum n Bass legend Andy C and vocal manipulator and beatbox hero Dub FX with The Flower Fairy joining him onstage.

Continuing the festival’s tradition of bringing the best in Hip Hop the 2012 event will feature local favourite David Dallas as well as international heavyweights The Nextmen. Local reggae heroes 1814 and Tomorrow People also join the bill.

Adding more history and weight are DJ Marky w/ MC Stamina, Aphrodite and local legends Concord Dawn. Joining them to keep the Electronic Stage moving are Delta Heavy and Bare Noize.

This New Years Eve La De Da will be the only place to welcome the new year with Shapeshifter providing the soundtrack; the countries favorite live act will be playing the main stage headline New Years Eve slot.

Returning to Martinborough’s Daisybank Farm the two night festival has two stages, ample on site camping and a wide range of bars, food and entertainment

Festival Co-Promoter Josh Mossman says “Going into Year 3 of the festival we wanted to raise the bar yet again, and with Shapeshifter at the top of our lineup we are confident we have New Zealand’s best live act counting us down to 2013. We have invested heavily into our site and infrastructure so we can provide our ticket holders with the best possible festival experience while they make Martinborough their new home for 2 nights this December. Each year we want to make La De Da more memorable than the last, and I am confident that this year’s festival will be no exception!”

Tickets are available now from www.ladeda.co.nz with New Year’s Eve tickets starting at a very reasonable $79 and multi day and camping options now available too.
