Lower Hutt Says Congratulations to Nick
Lower Hutt Mayor Ray Wallace has sent a message to New Zealand 1500m Olympic Gold Medal prospect Nick Wills congratulating him on being selected to carry the New Zealand flag at the Games Opening Ceremony in London.
“Nick is a Lower Hutt boy and proud of it,” says Mayor Ray Wallace.
“I have told him every citizen of Lower Hutt is with him in London and extremely proud of his achievements.
“We all feel part of your success and will be with you in spirit as you lead New Zealand's hopes and aspirations onto the track at the opening of the Olympic Games,” he told Nick.
“Congratulations from us all here in your home city of Lower Hutt,” the Mayor wrote.
