Three upcoming Auckland designers showing at Luck/House on High St

Auckland, New Zealand, 1 August 2012 – Luck/House will be showcasing the work of three young fashion designers in a runway show tomorrowat 7pm.
Designer Steven Park of 6x4 aims to denounce history and culture with his clothing. This is apparent in the austere, sterile aesthetic of his collection – the collection emerges from the void of the cultureless.
Anthea of ANTHEACLOTHING draws her inspiration from the prairie in the Mid-West influenced by New Mexico culture, overlaid by her label’s characteristic aesthetic of structure and ornate detailing.
Rose of NYPHETS’s label derives its name from the novel Lolita. Accordingly her collection can be characterised as theatrical, with almost costume-like playful use colour and texture, with a hint of sexual naivety.
