High Tea to help Koru Care Kids

Koru Care New Zealand had such fun with their last High Tea at Alberton House that they are doing it all again.

The Alberton was famous in the 19th century for its balls, hunts, garden parties and music; going back in time Koru Care will be hosting a special event to help make the future seem brighter for some special New Zealand Children.

Each year Koru Care New Zealand take 26 children along with caregivers on a trip of a lifetime to California, the trips take in Disneyland, Universal Studios, Knott’s Berry Farm and other great attractions to help brighten the lives of kids who face all manner of health or other issues in their young lives.

Tickets to the High tea are $35pp with all proceeds going towards this year’s Californian Adventure.

There will be music, scrumptious treats, raffle baskets and as an added bonus there is an Art Exhibition of Myung Ja Lee at Alberton House for your viewing pleasure.

For 29 years Koru Care New Zealand has been taking children from throughout the country on the trip of a lifetime, children from all walks of life – with ongoing medical conditions and terminal illness look forward to the opportunity to get away from it all, and be a real Kiwi kid for a couple of weeks.

And it’s only through the support and generosity of the community that Koru Care are able to provide these trips.

These trips are a highlight for kids from throughout the country, and without the support and generosity of sponsors and supporters these trips just wouldn’t be possible.
