IN RUSSIA
On Sunday, 4
November, Bach Musica NZ will present A
Night in Russia in the Baradene Concert Hall, often
praised for its superb acoustics.
The concert features a NZ Premiere of Bortniansly’s Litany of Psalms, a 50-min work for 8 soloists, choir and orchestra. Also on the programme are Tchaikovky’s Serenade for Strings, and his beautiful Nocturne and Andante Cantabile for solo cello and strings. Soloist is Ashley Brown from the NZ Trio.
