Laughs for the Whole Family
Meow is hosting a family friendly stand-up comedy show, Clean Comedy on November 11 at 4pm.
Hosted by James Jobe, the show features five of Wellington's best up and coming comedians performing a style of stand up comedy that doesn’t include swearing, mining offensive subjects, or performing risqué material.
“Three of America’s most successful comedians are Brian Regan, Jerry Seinfeld, and Bill Cosby and they have been working clean material for years and are hugely respected amongst their peers. There's definitely a place in Wellington for this kind of comedy", says Rick Threlfo, the show’s producer.
As a huge fan of Jerry Seinfeld’s comedy, Rick was inspired to start stand up just over a year ago and has been working a mostly clean style since.
Featuring Eamonn Marra, Esther Lewis, Hilaire Carmody, Nik Bruce-Smith and Rick Threlfo, the show is just $5 and will be two hours.
Bring the family, this show is rated G - suitable for Granny.
