Full Sail

Spirit of New Zealand will be circumnavigating New Zealand in 2013, sailing in and out of various ports around New Zealand in celebration of 40 years of the Spirit of Adventure Trust.

Spirit is scheduled to sail in and out of Wellington for a few weeks in January/February, first arriving 18 January 2013. The public are invited to book a place for a 3-day sailing adventure. No sailing experience required.

$490 per person including all meals | Ages 18+

Additionally, the public are invited to join Spirit for an afternoon day sail on 19 January 2013, departing from Queens Wharf at 2pm and returning at 4pm. No sailing experience required.

Saturday 19 January 2013 (2-4pm)
$75 per person | Ages 10+

The Spirit of Adventure Trust was established in 1972 to provide the youth of New Zealand access to a character development programme through sail training. Since then, they have taken thousands of young New Zealanders to sea on a voyage of personal discovery.
Although described as a Sail Training Organisation, the focus of learning for these young people taking part on a Voyage is on personal skills such as leadership, teamwork and communication.
