World Buskers Festival returns to New Brighton

Media Release

18 December 2012

The SCIRT World Buskers Festival returns to New Brighton to spread the fun!

The 2013 SCIRT World Buskers Festival will take to the streets of New Brighton next year…well, if we’re honest it’s actually the basketball courts (you know the ones at the end of the pier.)

The street shows by the sea include a sample of the World class performers from the festival.

The Ryan Security BUSKERS AT BRIGHTON line up includes:

• Hilby - The Skinny German Juggle Boy
• Mr Fish
• El Gleno Grande
• MulletMan
• Gabez
• Acrobatica
• Blackstreet Boyz
• Miss Australia
• Bendy Em
• Lords of Strut
• Becky Hoops
• Nigel Blackstorm

Artistic Director Jodi Wright says, “Some of the festival’s best shows and best crowds have been taken place at Buskers at Brighton. On a good day you can’t beat it for a setting and the performers always rave about how great the crowds are.”

The Festival runs from 17-27 January, with Buskers at Brighton taking place Janaury 26 and 27.

The SCIRT World Buskers Festival would like to thank the Burwood / Pegasus Community Board for their support.
