Don’t be surprised to run into the highly skilled circus fools Picapau and Mantega; Acrobatic cyclist Jessica Arpin; stuntman, contortionist, escapologist, clown and sword swallowing Murray Molloy; Billions Cobra, who has more than fifteen TV appearances including The Late Show with David Letterman and the Ellen DeGeneres Show; America’s Got Talent contestant and five Guinness World Records holder, Matt Baker; commedian Eloise Green; and Equilibrium Circus with explosive Feets of Fire acrobatics.
The Festival is comprised of six sites spread throughout Auckland City the BIG little City. Sites include two Viaduct Harbour sites, Vulcan Lane, Westfield Downtown, Princes Wharf, and our new Wynyard Quarter site.
The night shows have been part of the Festival since 2003 and are a great way to socialise with friends whilst enjoying good outdoor dining in a fun and comical environment.
So zip on your best clapping hands, firm up your stomping boots and dive down the back of the couch for a handful of loose change. From the Viaduct to Vulcan Lane, the streets will be transformed into a playground for some of the world’s most talented street performers. Come experience a world of madness and mayhem at the 2013 International Buskers Festival in Auckland’s BIG little city.
