20–25 February
2013
Come see Tape Art NZ as they create a five day evolving story around a cube in Civic Square as part of the Wellington Fringe festival!
Street art team Erica Duthie and Struan Ashby have extensive international experience creating ephemeral murals made from masking tape.
This work work will be in a constant flux as figures are drawn, removed and drawn anew as the narrative develops. Wellingtonians are invited to:
– Come talk to the artists as they create and be a part of the unfolding and spontaneously evolving mural.
– Share ideas so the artists can weave your stories and ideas in with their own
– Have your portrait drawn and be included in the mural and be “famous for a day”
– Join in the public “rip down” at 1pm on Monday 25th february
