Camerata Caipira Brings To New Zealand A Special
Concert Revealing The Diversity Of Brazilian Music
Isabella Rovo, Nelson
Latif, Bosco Oliveira and Victor Batista will perform at
WOMAD New Plymouth and together with local artists they will
showcase the wealth of Brazilian Rhythms in Wellington.
Isabella lived in New Zealand for two years when she put together the bands Brazealand and Roda de Samba. Now she returns for a short tour, bringing three superb guitarists with the support of Fundo de Apoio a Cultura - Brasilia/DF, the Embassy of Brazil and the New Zealand community.

Valley Fair

Festa Brasil II - The big
party at San Francisco Bath House. Doors
open at 8pm. The party kicks off with local band So
Samba. That act is followed by Clube do Choro,
executing a special gafieira program to keep everybody on
the dance floor. Camerata Caipira will follow with
collaboration of local guests before our very own Te Aro
Samba bring on the sound of Brazilian carnival to the
stage. The night is wrapped up by the local band Bella
Cajon.
