A platinum performance, sophisticated, innovative, polished and professional, and with cutting edge creativity.”
The New Zealand Herald

Join The New Zealand Dance Company as it embarks on its first North Island tour of its acclaimed inaugural production Language of Living.

In Hawke’s Bay for one night only, the brave and beautiful short works in the programme showcase some of this country’s finest artistic athletes, including talented Napier dancer and performer, Hannah Tasker-Poland, one of the company’s founding members.

The innovative and relevant choreography by Sarah Foster-Sproull, Justin Haiu and Arts Laureates Michael Parmenter and Shona McCullagh is brought to life by a visual feast of stunning costume, video and set design and an exquisite soundtrack featuring compositions by Gareth Farr, CPE Bach, The Electric Boutique and Eden Mullholland.

Language of Living is an immersive and thrilling evening of dance for aficionados and newcomers alike.

As a valued Hawke’s Bay Opera House customer, you can be among the first to secure the best seats and an early-bird 20% discount off full and concession price tickets to see Language of Living in Hawke’s Bay, before they go on general sale on 28 March.
