Sassy Barker Art and Design provides support to SAFE

Sassy Barker Art and Design is pleased to announce its ongoing support of charity; SAFE, a non-profit organisation that exists to make significant improvements in the lives of animals by raising awareness, challenging cruel practices, changing attitudes and fostering compassion.

Angela Bendall, founder of Sassy Barker Artwork and Giftware says “I’m thrilled Sassy Barker is in a position to support this very worthy and under-rated charity. I’m eagerly looking forward to working with SAFE and supporting their activities to help raise awareness and promote the cause. For over 80 years SAFE has been a strong voice in New Zealand defending animals against cruelty and abuse and as the organisation is financed solely through the goodwill of the community I’m glad that we’ll be able to donate 10% of each Sassy Barker sale to the cause.

SAFE is dedicated to changing attitudes and nurturing compassionate values by educating the public about the inherent value of animals. SAFE Executive Director Hans Kriek says ”It is great to see businesses like ‘Sassy Barker’ supporting SAFE, it will help SAFE stand up for thousands of needy defenceless animals in New Zealand. I hope it will inspire other businesses to do the same.”

Sassy Barker Artwork and Giftware offers personalised, original artwork and giftware solutions. An owner/operator business, Angela Bendall works closely with her clients to produce quality pieces that are unique and personal to the individual, business or group commissioning it.
