Love is Love - The Concert
Be There To See History In The Making
Join the celebrations on Wednesday, 17 April as New Zealanders around the country mark the third and final reading of the Marriage Amendment Bill that, if passed, will allow same-sex couples the same rights to marry the person they love.
The formalities will be happening at Parliament in Wellington, but in Christchurch the festivities will be happening at the Pallet Pavilion between 6pm – 10pm.
There is a line up of FREE and exciting entertainment, including:
• Thomas
Coffey
• Emma and Liam from Ashei
• Anika Moa
We also plan a live crossing to Wellington either shortly after or during the reading of the Bill. Louisa Wall’s Marriage Amendment Bill easily passed its second reading by 77 votes to 44. If passed on Wednesday, it could become law by August.
This is an historic occasion that is not to be missed.
The Pallet Pavillion is on the corner of Kilmore and Durham Sts the former Crowne Plaza site. All Welcome.
