Now Its Jaden's Turn For A Little Help
Having the most severe form of spina bifida hasn't held 8 year-old Auckland boy Jaden back from living life to the full. He's inspiring with a fan base of people all over the world. Jaden's never been the recipient of fundraising but has raised money for Starship Foundation, StarJam and Riding for the Disabled. Now, its his turn for a little kindness, and a motorised wheelchair will give him independence to get around his community without assistance. Request contact details.

Anna's Army raise $10k in just 24 hours

Helen Blazey and Anna Godkin have been close friends since they first met in Sumner, Christchurch as Plunket babies. Just days ago Anna was diagnosed with breast cancer and yesterday underwent a double mastectomy in Auckland with chemo to come. Crowdfunding a legal battle
Tamariki School in Christchurch is New Zealand's oldest 'free school' and one of the oldest in the world. The school, founded in 1966, provides a unique educational experience for its 41 pupils with a focus on the school fitting the child's own development path. New Ministry of Education reporting requirements will compromise the school's special character so the school requires legal assistance to retain its values. Request contact details

Kiwi selected for Royal Academy of Music in London
Uniquely talented 23 year-old Auckland pianist Somi Kim has been invited to attend the prestigious Royal Academy of Music this September. The Academy only accepts the world's best so to be invited to complete postgraduate studies is a musicians dream. Somi must raise $65,000 by June to ensure her place. Somi graduated in May with a First Class Masters in Piano Performance from the University of Auckland. A free public performance by Somi will be held at Telecom Place, Victoria Street West midday on Friday 19 April. Request contact details.

Changing a life with $1,200
When Michael and Mikaela Carter spent a month in Guatemala, it was a kind of language exchange: they learned Spanish and repaid the favour by teaching English in a local school. One of the students they worked with at the school was Socorro, a young Mayan woman in her final year of a teaching diploma. Socorro’s brother had been the main sponsor for her education and when he lost his hand in a recent accident at the bakery where he worked, his income went too. With just days before they returned home the Kiwi couple contacted friends to raise the $1,200 for Socorro to complete her studies. Request contact details.
