Script to Screen announces 2013 Killer Films Internship Scholarship recipient - Sally Tran

Script to Screen is delighted to announce writer/director Sally Tran has been awarded the 2013 Killer Films Internship Scholarship, which will see her trading a NZ winter for a busy summer in NYC in the development department of leading indie film production company, Killer Films.

Her experience will be covered by blogs available on the Script to Screen website.

The panel of industry selectors would also like to acknowledge filmmakers Zoe McIntosh and Yamin Tun who were finalists for this year's scholarship.

Killer Films, led by producers Christine Vachon and Pam Koffler, is at the forefront of independent American cinema and is responsible for a long list successful films including Kids, Happiness and I’m Not There. Over the past two years, Killer has managed to produce 12 features despite the tough economic environment, including the recent Sundance hit Kill Your Darlings, and Magic Magic, which has been selected to screen at Director's Fortnight at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival.
