Auckland, 2 May 2013 – Club Med, the founder of the popular 'Kids Club' concept, has a whole new exciting programme of activities and fun for children.
Kaarin Gaukrodger, Club Med New Zealand Sales & Marketing Manager says, "Our Kids Clubs, which cater for a range of ages, are very popular offering kids amazing holiday entertainment and allowing parents to have a relaxing holiday at the same time."
With customer feedback top of mind Club Med has created a whole new offering with a different theme each day and a range of activities. The programmes now incorporate family time, culture, nature, sports and creativity, each Club Med resort will also have its own mascot and a dedicated television channel.
"Often parents want to be involved with their children so we've added some special family orientated activities, such as dance classes, Master Chef and Amazing Race themed challenges and a family BBQ," Kaarin says.
Theme days include - I am an artist, water splash, cultural day, fun with nature, sports day, Club Med adventure and champion day. Activities range from the trapeze, yoga, archery and golf, to dancing, pool games and a kids fashion show.
The Kids Clubs are their 'own little world' within Club Med, each with their own dedicated base and most with their own swimming pools complete with shade sail for sun protection. The Kids Clubs are divided into age groups from 4 months up to 17 years (the age range of children catered for differs from resort to resort).
"Club Med's aim is to offer children an inspirational and educational range of activities in a fun and safe environment," Kaarin says. "Fun, wonder and self-expression are the experience pillars of Kids Club."
