100 Marriage Course Attendees Can't be Wrong!
PRESS RELEASE
100 Marriage Course Attendees Can't be Wrong!
3 years, 7 courses and over 100 attendees - there must be something people like about this course! Upper Hutt couple Steve and Suzanne Thom who run the Marriage Course at Heretaunga Christian Centre say that while it's great to have hit these milestone, they are keen to see many more people come along on the course.
"We love seeing couples benefit from the course and seeing relationships grow stronger" said Suzanne. "Each of the 7 sessions starts with a meal, couples are seated at tables for two so it's a bit like a meal at a restaurant. The course material is great and there are plenty of laughs along the way as well. There's no group discussion which comes as a relief to most couples!"
"We've had some amazing feedback from previous course participants." said Steve. "What's really interesting is how valuable men find the course. To be honest some are dragged along by their partner but once they get into it, discover that there's no group discussion and that it's a bit like going on a date with their wife, they start to look really forward to the weekly evening out."
Over 7 sessions, the course covers topics such as understanding each other's needs, communication, resolving conflict, healing hurts, developing greater sexual intimacy and much, much more! "Some couples come on the course to build on an already strong marriage, others may be struggling in some way. Some have been married a short time while others have been together for many years" commented Suzanne.
The next course starts Tuesday 26 February. For more information contact Steve or Suzanne, phone 0276634484 or visit www.marriagecourse.co.nz.
