Ashburton Society of Arts Annual Exhibition

This exhibition marks the 49th successful year of the Ashburton Society of Arts Annual Exhibition. The eagerly awaited opening night sees the art lovers and enthusiasts of Ashburton turn up and get their first pick of the fantastic selection of works on display.  The annual exhibition features art works from local, national and guest artists with categories including: painting, applied art, craft and photography all of which are available for purchase.

Guest artists this year include Eva McEnroe from Ashburton, Wayne Edgerton from Southland, Renata Przynoga-Cousins from Christchurch, Erika Husselmann from Auckland, Cindy King from Christchurch, and Talulah Belle Lautrec-Nunes from Taurangi. 

Complementing these painters with the applied art section are Mia Hamilton from Wellington, Lisa West from Auckland, Louise Douglas from Nelson, Lynden Over from Taupo, Fumio Noguchi from Nelson, and local artists Melissa Brooks and Zahra Gilson.

Tickets for the Ashburton Society of Arts opening function being held on Monday 10 June 7:00pm are now available from the Gallery reception.
