Script to Screen and Nga Aho Whakaari present two special events with internationally acclaimed Palawanon-Filipino director Auraeus Solito

WELLINGTON: WED 5 JUNE; AUCKLAND: THURS 6 JUNE

Solito's first feature film The Blossoming of Maximo Oliveros screened at A-list festivals all over the world and won 15 international awards including 4 awards at the Berlinale in 2005 (The Teddy, The Grand Jury Prize at the Kinderfest, a Special Mention from the Jury Prize at the Kinderfest, a Special Mention from the Children's Jury at the Kinderfest).

His latest film Busong (Palawan Fate) screened at Cannes' Directors' Fortnight in 2011. It went on to win the Merata Mita Award - the grand prize at National Geographic All Roads Film Festival in Washington D.C in 2012. It is the first film in what will be the Palawan Trilogy.
