Rhythm Group Entertainment, Under the Radar and 95bFM are excited to be bringing Texan based contemporary psychedelic rock band THE BLACK ANGELS to New Zealand audiences for the first time.
Known for their monumental live sets with hypnotizing projections, the band will play two shows on their way to Glastonbury Festival in the UK. A New York Times live review said THE BLACK ANGELS “play psychedelic rock as if the 1960s never ended, and they are absolute masters of it.”
THE BLACK ANGELS have been at the forefront of the neo-psychedelic movement for over a decade and are co-founders of the biggest psychedelic music festival in the world, The Austin Psych Festival. The band has also toured with the likes of The Black Keys, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Queens of the Stone Age, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Ravonettes and The Horrors.
The band’s first visit to New Zealand comes hot off the heels of their fourth critically acclaimed album, INDIGO MEADOW.
Do not miss the opportunity to see these undisputed pioneers of contemporary psychedelic rock, THE BLACK ANGELS.
