Clown Doctors Take To The Skies
Clown Doctors Take To The Skies

It was smiles all round
at 30,000ft as Dr Funny Bone, Dr Priscilla Pick-Me-Up took
to the skies on an Auckland to Wellington Jetstar flight to
launch the inaugural Smile Days campaign to raise awareness
of Clown Doctors New Zealand.
Over 60,000 Kiwi hospital patients, family members and staff have encountered the Clown Doctors since the organisation launched in New Zealand in 2009. Clown Doctors New Zealand was a past recipient of a Jetstar Flying Start Programme grant where $15,000 cash and $15,000 in travel went towards specialist medical clowning training for 24 Kiwi Clown Doctors and facilitated the travel for extending the work of the organisation during Smile Days. www.clowndoctors.org.nz.
