Fresh from playing at Sydney's Stone Music Festival with the likes of Van Halen, Aerosmith, Billy Joel, Buckcherry and many more; as well as recent supports with I Am Giant (NZ/UK) and London Cries formerly Juke Kartel (US/ AUS), Australian Band Ten Thousand are bringing their high energy live show across the Tasman on their 1st New Zealand Tour!
With the recent release of the new single 'When I Get You', produced by Lindsay Gravina (Shihad, The Living End, Spiderbait), Ten Thousand has further developed its sound, straddling new territory and fusing together razor sharp rock n roll riffs, echoing spaced out melodies, a thunderous fuzzed out rhythm section and soaring melodic vocals. With influences as varied as Motley Crue, Muse & 30 Seconds To Mars, Ten Thousand destroy the barriers between progressive and classic rock n roll. 'Hard Rock is tricky.... But the devil is in the details, and you cant fake the perfect balance of attitude, melody, precision and energy of Ten Thousand' - Peter Hodgson, Beat Magazine
Joining Ten
Thousand on the Tour is Christchurch band PHANTOM
MPIR.
Their self-produced debut album, 'If The World
Burns' has industry veterans stumped at its high production
values; describing it as “Bench Mark”.
PHANTOM MPIR's uniquely dynamic soundscape and animated live show, claims the attention of first time audiences leaving them intrigued and asking for more. www.facebook.com/PHANTOMEMPIRE
