Cityfitness help X Factor boy band, Moorhouse stay on top form for competition

This week the nation watched as popular boy band, Moorhouse were the first act to be told they were through to the semi finals of TV3’s hit show; The X Factor NZ. For the past few months the 4 piece band have kept at the top of their game with the help of a regular exercise routine through a sponsorship agreement with nationwide gym chain, cityfitness.
The sponsorship arrangement came about after the band got in to discussions with Club Manager, Dean McConville at Cityfitness main Christchurch club on Moorhouse Avenue. ‘Given both the band and the club had the same name it seemed a likely partnership. We’re looking forward to the boys returning to Christchurch where Cityfitness on Moorhouse Avenue will be their home gym.’ says McConville.
Since entering the competition the band have been based in Auckland and have been able to make regular use of Cityfitness inner city club on Queen Street. ‘Gym memberships at Cityfitness have helped the boys maintain a healthy lifestyle and it’s encouraged them to look and feel their best when they’re performing’ says Moorhouse Band Manager, Nate Phillips.
The band is made up of Jason Aileone (19), Brock Ashby (19), Marley Wilcox Nanai (17) and Rory McKenna (19)
