Michael McIntyre’s spot-on observational comedy and trademark ability to turn everyday situations into master-classes of human exasperation, have struck chords with millions of fans, resolutely cementing him as one of the UK’s most loved and treasured comedy performers.

“He’s a certified comedy icon”
MM Star London
Michael has released three best-selling DVDs; 2008’s Live and Laughing, which currently holds the top spot as the biggest selling UK debut stand-up DVD and Hello Wembley, which in 2009 became the fastest selling UK stand-up DVD of all time and 2012’s Showtime which beat its competitors to the Christmas Number One spot.

“He remains the King and Showtime only cements that position”
Chortle UK

The past two years have been particularly exceptional for Michael.  Most recent highlights include, Michael selling out an outstanding ten night residency at London’s O2 Arena repeating what pop superstar Rihanna did in 2011, a 2012 National TV Award for Best Entertainment Program for his BBC1 series Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, plus his 2011 Christmas Day BBC1 Comedy Roadshow special being watched by 8.6 million viewers, making it one of the highest rated TV shows over the festive season.  Michael’s international acclaim saw him break the record for the biggest comedy show ever performed on the continent of Africa in spring 2013, he then went on to play sell-out shows in Dubai.

“If McIntyre were a band, he’d be in Coldplay – he is one of the few comedians who can fill an arena with the kind of big act that extends to those in the rafters whose seats ‘come with a vertigo warning and a harness’”
London Sunday Review

Other highlights include; writing his first autobiography - the number one best-selling Life & Laughing, hosting the 2010 Royal Variety Performance in front of HRH Prince Charles, joining the judging panel of one of the biggest show’s on TV – Britain’s Got Talent (ITV1), a 71 date sell out arena tour in 2012 where Michael played to over 750,000 people (including ten nights at The O2 Arena and six nights at Wembley Arena), a 2010 British Comedy Award for Best Male TV Comic, a 2009 British Comedy Award for Best Live Stand-up Performer, plus two nominations for Best Comedy Entertainment Personality and Best Comedy Entertainment Program for Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow. To add to that impressive list, Michael also had two hugely successful critically acclaimed series of Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow on BBC ONE (2009 and 2010), that regularly achieved audiences of five million and also notched up numerous award nominations including a BAFTA, National TV Award, RTS and Broadcast awards.

“It’s all about sharp observation and brilliantly delivered anecdotes”
MM Star London
