Botanica a cupcake wonderland his Saturday and Sunday
The team at Botanica Whangarei is very proud to be helping Alzheimer’s Northland’s fundraising efforts on World Alzheimer’s Day this year.
Conservatory Manager Helen Cairns said the conservatory, cactus house and filmy fern house on First Avenue will be offering $2.50 Alice in Wonderland cupcakes to visitors on 21 and 22 September.
“There’s a great range of flavours to choose from, including the Cheshire Cat’s Chocolate to the Mad Hatter’s favourite Blueberry, all individually boxed for freshness.
“There will be lots of fun and games to enjoy and admission is free. The money we raise will support rural adult day care centres, support groups and home visits here in Northland,” Miss Cairns said.
“This year we’d like to make it a bumper year for this celebration. Everyone is invited, and remember – Entrance is Free.”
Botanica is open daily from 9.00am to 4.00pm. Admission is free, and the complex is wheelchair-accessible.
