Detroit Indie-Pop Sensation James Linck

After making national noise with his first band, James and the Rainbros, singer James Linck’s plaintive falsetto voice became the subject of conversation in many Detroit music circles.
His second band, the notably talented, fresh and categorically ambiguous group House Phone, made more lush pop music before disbanding last year.
James just released his first solo project, "Fortress of Solitude," lyrically stark over a backdrop of ambient electronica, classic soul, 80's pop, and hip hop.
