The Sons of Zion are a talented six piece band who combine reggae, heavy rock, dub and funk to deliver an incredible live stage performance and original set that has captivated audiences all over the country. This tour follows the release of their album Universal Love featuring the singles ‘Good Love’, #1 airplay hit ‘Tell Her’ and their latest jam ‘Superman’. “Quote from SOZ: We have had a huge year with dropping our new album and our nominations at the Maori Music Awards, finishing the year on tour is exactly where we want to be, connecting with our fans and sharing our music with audiences all over NZ. We can’t wait!”
Tomorrow People are a
Wellington based 7-piece band whose #1 award winning album
has seen them go from strength to strength over the last few
years. Taking away a 2012 nomination at the Vodafone Music
Awards, a Waiata Award and a Pacific Music Award, their
debut album ONE continues to produce radio hits such as
'Take It Away', 'Souljah Feeling' and 'Irie Music'. This
tour marks the release of their sophomore EP offering ONE.5
that is a guaranteed summer smash. "Quote from TP: We
can't wait for the people to hear our new material; they've
been asking us all year so this will be the first time they
hear it live!"
Chad Chambers is
emerging as one of New Zealand’s most sensational reggae
stars since taking out the Homai Te Pakipaki Grand Final
competition in 2011. He has recently collaborated with House
of Shem and Tomorrow People to release hit singles.
Together they will deliver a feel good reggae gig that
is not to be missed!
