Great for audiences 12years and up.

SOME OF OUR AUDIENCE FEEDBACK.

This was amazing at so many levels.  Seldom is theatre so close to the truth as in this play with the main actor also being the originator of the story.  The story itself is important, new and note easily conveyed in other media.  The innovative way in which it is done is triumph of language, music, set and truly cross cultural acting.   Thank you so much.  Tejo Van Schie

From the rhythmic and stimulating welcome of the African drums to the heart warming final line and the blowing of dust, I was taken on a journey of despair, unimaginable hardships to love fulfillment and the close bond formed between Francois and Bob.  A beautifully told and cleverly crafted true story which had me mesmerised and engaged from beginning to end.  The setting and transitions between scenes so skillfully adapted to create truly believable moments in time, snapshots of memories and speckles of humour.  LOVED IT!   Miriam Gwyn

Both my husband and I worked for refugees from 1985-1998 and have been I the Great Lake Region and other parts of Africa.  WE have quite a few Burundi and Congolese friends here in NZ.  The product, “A Thousand Hills’ so much reflects reality of refugee situation and I could not help thinking back to our time back then.  Great play, fantastic cast.  M Simpkins

A compelling and powerful depiction of the horrific events in Rwanda which humanity should be ashamed of.  A non stop pace which depth, keeping the spectators on the edge of their seats with a mixture of fear, hope and resilience.  Beautifully produced and directed.  Marvellous music and singing.  Interesting blend of languages which one didn’t need to speak to understand.  Bravo to all of you.
