18th Italian Film Festival returns to Napier

MTG Hawke’s Bay is pleased to welcome the 18th Italian Film Festival to the MTG Century Theatre.

The festival opens tomorrow Wednesday 13 November at the MTG Century Theatre with the gala screening of Welcome to the North and runs to the 27 November.

The festival brings the best of Italian film making to Hawke’s Bay with 18 films screening over 15 days.

This year the festival selection covers many genres, particularly concentrated on those that appeal to the majority of the New Zealand public: comedy, romantic comedy and drama. A special treat will be a figure skating, opera aria combination extravaganza from the historic Verona arena.

The line-up includes all the winners of all the Italian film industry’s awards and there will be something in the programme for everyone.
